Perfect Weekend Getaway.
We wanted to get out of San Francisco for a long weekend and decided to drive to Chico, since we hadn't been before. There didn't seem to be many good hotel options, but after just a little bit of online research, found this B&B. Lives up to imagination... many times one has something in mind and then reality is disappointingly different. This is not the case in my experience with The Goodman House. I've been there several times and always the service and quality matches my idea of an ideal B&B. Chico has many charming ways to spend your time and the Goodman House is an ideal home base. The Goodman House is located in the heart of old Chico. It has been meticulously restored, extremely comfortable and has the just right attention of the owner / innkeepers. As innkeepers of an inn in Big Bear Lake, we appreciate positive reviews that are constructive and will help future guests judge the facility. This is a 1st class place. How Could a College Town B&B Be More Perfect?

This B&B is absolutely located, hosted, decorated and charmed in every detail of excellence. Many choices are given for the delightful breakfast and we couldn't have felt more welcomed and comfortable in every way. It is such a bargain for the nurturing and extras that are offered.The innkeepers are knowledgeable, fun, and flexible for they allowed us to have our college student visit and he even felt at home! I will return for a business stay in the future. It is a B&B bargain!
